- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪With the prominence of pain killers I am wondering if mercy hospital has a protocol for treating surgery patients who would come in while being on the popular treatment drug Suboxone which renders a user unable to feel the effects of narcotics. I was one of the unfortunate ones who suffered a surgery while on the fullest dose offerd. while i'm at it I don't think it was very appropriate to be asked if I wanted a male surgon,or a female I said the best one, and he announced that I wanted a male. the female Dr. who was present ended up taking me because the male became unavailable.
